The role is primarily to produce high quality traditional joinery to specification both working alone and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Day to day operation of joinery machinery and tools
* Production of bespoke joinery through from interpretation of drawings to final product
* Own health and safety and that of co-workers
* Reporting progress and problems encountered by himself and others to the Managing Director
* Suggesting improvements to processes
* Bringing any health and safety problems or shortfalls to the attention of management
* Possible site visits to meet clients and potential clients, measure for jobs and produce quotations
Experience
* Minimum 10 years experience in the joinery industry.
* Must have taken jobs through from drawing to completion
Must be able to work to a high standard
Must have good knowledge of most types of joinery ie. Doors , windows , staircases, curved work.
* Operated usual joinery machinery and tools

* Ability to discuss requirements with clients and produce appropriate solutions
* Consultative attitude
* Team worker
Salary: Negotiable
