Configuration Engineer - Defence - East Sussex
I am currently looking for a Configuration Engineer to join a world renowned Defence Company in East Sussex. The Company are a major Prime contractor to the UK MOD being involved with almost all current large scale MOD projects. Being such a successful Company they can offer an extremely good career path and opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and cutting edge technologies. You will be responsible for the complete configuration management process from start to finish from planning to integration and delivery ensuring that all Company policies are adhered to and planning/change management is effective in delivering the required outcome. This will also include customer liaison where necessary and working as the subject matter expert in relation to configuration management in reference to your particular projects.
Ideally you will have the following:
Experience of configuring or controlling engineering/manufacturing artefacts Ability to follow defined processes and use of Configuration/Product Data Management Tools Strong Communication - assertiveness/diplomacy In depth knowledge of PDM applications - Matrix/PDMLink
