Job Description

Daily paying agency are seeking a Finance Manager, to join a Research, Development and Medical division, within a global organisation in Kent. Contract rates in the region of £40-£45 per hour. In this position you will help develop, implement and ensure strong accounting controls are in place throughout the division. In addition working with the international Lead and Assistant Divisional Controller, ensuring accounting standards (US & Local GAAP) are followed. You will be required to liaise with Controllers, International Finance teams and other internal partners and also external parties. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensuring controls and compliance with all policies for day to day transactions in the Bio Therapeutics, Pharma Therapeutics and Medical Divisions in the International markets. * Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled. * Provide guidance and training to Finance analysts on accounting issues. * Prepare data for R&D tax credit in the UK * Partner with Corporate Tax to ensure that everything is compliant. MUST HAVE: * Professional qualification - CPA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA. * Financial or an Accounting post qualification * MS Office Suite experience, with advanced skills in Excel * Experience of using Business Objects, HFM, Computron, Oracle, SAP or other financial reporting systems. * Technical understanding of Accounting standards - US GAAP and IFRS and their interpretation * Be able to contribute within a team environment, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. * Project Management experience. * Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry.
