Permanent position Salary neg circa £35,000

The Company
Our client is a rapidly expanding young company specialising in the development of innovative in vitro diagnostic devices to be used to speed up diagnosis and improve health care delivery at the point of care. Based in a brand new laboratory facility at the Kent Science Park, a countryside science campus with excellent staff sports and recreational facilities. They urgently require a Process Development Engineer with experience in the Medtech industry developing and optimising manufacturing processes for mass manufacture of disposable products.

The Company is progressing rapidly towards commercialising it\'s first product, and this role will be instrumental in establishing a well characterised and robust manufacturing process.

For this position you will work within a strong multidisciplinary team and will be familiar with working inline with recognised quality standards. You will need to have a scientific/medical device/biotech background and have experience working within a process development environment, including assembly manufacturing in diagnostics. In addition, you will have good communication skills and be able to manage and motivate others.
